HW: Special Cases
My college had an accident where he broke his shoulder. After operation he is able to move his should in daily activities but is still struggling with small movements where his arm is close to his body. I would recommend the following poses with adaptations if the pain is too intense.
Huge yourself and massage the shoulder and arm muscles with the healthy arm
Eagle arms with a strep if the fingers can’t reach the palm of the other hand, playing it elbow and thumb position relative to you chest and face
Afterwards opening the chest with hands crossed behind the back, if the hands can’t be reached a strap can be used
Puppy pose with a pillow blow the chest
Cat pose with a special focus on only curling the shoulder region
Reversed plank and table position with caution on slow hip movements and positioning so that the intensity of the stretch in the shoulders can be reduced.
End with another round of hugging and massaging yourself.
