    Nadi Shodhana – Alternate Nostril Breathing
    Come into a seated position. Take the left hand in a mudra resting the hand on the left knee. With the right hand fold down the middle and index fingers. We will use the thumb of the right hand to block the right nostril and the ring finger to block the left nostril. We will start by inhaling, holding, and exhaling for 8 counts.
    Start by focusing your energy at the heart centre or the third eye. Take a few deep breaths. Next block the left nostril as we inhale for 8. Now block both nostrils and hold for 8. Release the left nostril and exhale for 8. Inhale through the left for 8. Blocking both nostrils hold for 8. Release the right nostril and exhale for 8.
