HW: Peak Poses
Bakasana Crow pose.To achieve this peak pose, there are a number of things that can be done in order to warm up the body and prepare for this strong pose.
- Wrist warm up. Kneeling on all fours, spreading the fingers out to each side of the mat and gently lean from side to side, putting the weight into the wrists, then facing the fingers to the knees gently rock your weight on the wrists backwards and forwards, after this we face the palms up to the sky and rock gently again. Roll the wrists. Finishing with a clawing into the air action repeatedly.
- Push ups. Starting on your knees putting your arms at each side of the body as if you are going down into chaturanga, elbows close to the body and repeat the push up 10 times.
- Plank. Holding a plank for 5 breaths x 3.
- Forward fold. With your hands on the floor, leaning all of you weight into your hands.

- Set Your Foundation. A strong foundation creates the basis of a strong posture.
- Spread your fingers wide
- Squeeze Into the Midline.
- Engage the Bandhas.
- Round Your Back.
- Lift Your Hips.
- Look Forward, Lean Forward.
