Goddess Pose
Start by standing with the feet wider than hip distance apart. Inhale and on the exhale bend the knees and sink the hips, coming into a wide squat making sure the toes are pointing in the same direction as the knees. The knees should be inline with the ankles but not extend beyond the ankles. The lower body is engaged.
Tilt the tailbone back and lengthen the lower back. Bring the hands to the knees or the ankles and press the knees open.
