HW: Full length Classes
Restorative yoga.
It was hard for me to pick a full length class as I enjoyed all of them. However the one I have done a few times is the restorative yoga class. I love this sequence including the oils, self massage, sound healing, meditation, deep breathing techniques to help destress the mind and body. It’s like a holistic healing therapy in one yoga class.I also love that it is for all levels, after all we all need to learn self love practices! The use of cushions and bricks are also a great inclusion. It’s a calming practice that definitely induces mindfulness. I practice yin yoga at least twice a week, I believe that it’s just as important to work on our joints as it is the muscles, my muscles get very tight quickly, so a gentle practice a couple of times a week, increasing the oxygen levels in my body helps so much. I love the thorough cues and calming voice Dashama uses during this practice. I love how relaxed the body feels after but also energised. But I especially love how calm my mind feels. Very enjoyable indeed. ✨💫
