Mangala Charan Mantra OR Aad Guray Nameh (Gurmukhi language)

https://youtu.be/vOpnVtHLSxc

is used a lot in the Kundalini yogatradition. It is a prayer you make to your Guru that brings you from dark to light. It can open your hartchakra and can balance your life.

Guray, derived from Guru, is a state of wisdom that comes from sitting within the dark (Gu) and light (ru), being aware of both, and finding balance within the center of these two forces, from which conscious action can arise.

Powerful mantra used for:

– protection,

– to gain clarity, and

– to receive guidance from one’s highest Self.

and therefore improves self-confidence and evokes your inner power

This mantra creates a protective field of energy around the person chanting, attracting abundance to them helping them live out their destiny.

The Mantra has 4 parts and therefor you can place your attention to the 4 different sides of your body during the mantra: Your right side, back, left side, front (the future / unseen wisdom) , to enforce the energy field even more.

When chanted for 31 minutes, in any setting, it is a practice for covering and clearing the past, present and future. (More or less 27 repetitions, quarter of a Mala)

This mantra is the Mangala Charan of the Sukhmani Sahib, a sacred prayer whose title translates as “Consoler of the Mind.” Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh Guru, wrote this prayer.

In chanting this Mantra one has the opportunity to bow, Nameh, to the primal (Aad) Wisdom (Guru or Guray). Then one bows to that wisdom through the ages (Jugaad), and then to the true wisdom (Sat), and the great (Siri) divine (Dayvay) wisdom.
Nameh is an act of letting go of ones resistance to what the reality is.
