Third Eye Chakra – Ajha chakra
Location: centre of the forehead between the eyes
Colour: Indigo/purple
The third eye represents our intuition, foresight. When in balance it provides wisdom and insight as well as helping us achieve a deeper spiritual connection. When the third eye is out of balance we feel a lack of direction or clarity. In yoga practicing alternate nostril breathing can help to balance the third eye.
Yoga poses: Thunder bolt, cow face pose, downward dog, and extended child’s pose.
