HW: Standing Balance
Balancing Toe Stand, Prapadasana
Begin on knees and toes.
Rock back onto toes, using core as center of balance.
Find a single place of focus.
Maintain breathing as long and slow.
Begin to raise buttocks off of heels. Thighs will be parallel to earth.
Back straight. Imagine a thread starting at crown of head pulling slightly up toward sky. The thread continues straight down spine & into the earth.
Hands in prayer at heart. The pressure of hands pushing slightly together will help you to balance here.
Hold this pose for as long as you can. When you think it is done, hold for 2-3 more seconds.
Relax into Child’s Pose.
