HW: Pranashama Yoga Manual
I was able to make a quick video describing and guiding Sun Salutations.
1. Mountain Pose (Tadasana): Begin in a standing position, feet together, arms at your sides, grounding yourself. 2. Upward Salute (Urdhva Hastasana): Inhale as you raise your arms overhead, reaching up. 3. Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana): Exhale as you fold forward, keeping your knees slightly bent if needed. 4. Halfway Lift (Ardha Uttanasana): Inhale as you lift your chest halfway, with a flat back. 5. Plank Pose: Step or jump back into a straight-arm plank, engaging your core. 6. Chaturanga Dandasana: Exhale as you lower to a low plank, keeping your elbows close to your body. 7. Upward-Facing Dog (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana): Inhale as you press into your hands and lift your chest, with legs off the ground. 8. Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana): Exhale as you lift your hips and push back into an inverted “V.” 9. Halfway Lift (Ardha Uttanasana): Step or jump forward, inhaling to lift your chest halfway. 10. Standing Forward Bend (Uttanasana): Exhale as you fold forward again. 11. Upward Salute (Urdhva Hastasana): Inhale as you rise, lifting your arms overhead. 12. Mountain Pose (Tadasana): Exhale as you return to the standing position.
