HW: Planking Series (Day 27)
Wild Thing
Great to come into from a 3 legged dog or side plank…
From a 3 legged dog, shift the weight into the hand and foot of the planted side. Come on to the finger tips of the opposite side and bend the knee of the raised leg. Keep turning, following the bent leg and take the (same side) arm up, bringing the upper body into the rotation until the toes are able to reach the floor. Curl back lifting the top long and stretching through the belly. Keep well planted in the supported arm, bones stacked and shoulder blade glued down the back. To come out, slowly reverse all the movements, back to a 3 legged dog, then downward dog. You may like to relax down to a child’s pose before repeating on the other side.
