HW: Peak Poses
I love the peak poses, my body on the other hand is still adjusting to them. I chose mermaid and I wish I had taken a picture of this peak pose when I had started YTT. Bending and pulling down on extended leg while in pigeon was not happening. My quadriceps were so tight.
I continued stretching and now am a little closer. I feel good with my current expression of mermaid.
The first pose that can lead us into mermaid is: Table top (Bharmanasana).
Table top puts us in the ideal location and position to easily flow into the second pose: Pigeon (Ardha Kapotasana).
Once in pigeon, we adjust our hips so they are facing forward and are flat on the ground and proceed into mermaid (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana).
