HW: Miracle Morning
The miracle morning has truely changed my days for the better. Before I started doing the miracle morning I would dread getting up. I had an infant was not a great sleeper and up every hour or two all night long. I found I never had time for myself and felt like the day would quickly become chaotic and I could not get anything done. After finishing the Miracle morning series I decided it was time to make a change and started to set an alarm just 15 minutes before my son would wake up to do a condensed miracle morning practice and get some silent time to myself. Even just with the shortened practice I started to see an improvement in myself. I looked forward to getting up and going through the steps. I was in such a better mood to start my day. Slowly over time I started to set the alarm earlier till I had the time to complete the full miracle morning routine. It amazes me how such small changes can have such a big impact on our day.
Here are the steps I follow for my miracle morning routine

Silence – I begin by doing 5 minutes of gratitude practice right when I get up.

Affirmation – Standing in front of the mirror I do 5 minutes of affirmations focused on my current goals

Exercise – I turn on a happy playlist and dance around my room for 5 -10 minutes

Reading – I spend 5-10 minutes reading a self improvement book

Scribing – I journal or just write myself notes for 5-10 minutes

Yoga – This is a bonus step I like to do most mornings. I go through a quick 10 minute flow practice or several rounds of sun salutations.
