    HW: Miracle Morning

    The Miracle Morning is an incredible way to start the day. On days I work it becomes Miracle “Evening” to adjust to my needs and end the day well. Though I will say I prefer to complete it in the morning as it really sets the tone for the day.

    Set up a sacred space that works for you – set up an alter, light a candle or incense, diffuse oils, set out your favorite crystals, or simply sit in a quiet space.

    Step 1 – Gratitude Song “Thank You For This Day” by Karen Drucker – Begin by singing out your gratitude for all the good in your life. I have created a playlist to start out my morning with high vibes.

    Step 2 – Gratitude Prayer – During this prayer time, I really allow myself to become enveloped in love and gratitude. It’s truly the most powerful way to pray. I resolved so many conflicts in my last job by simply sending love, compassion, forgiveness and gratitude to situations/people involved. If you can allow yourself to feel that as you sit in this moment of gratitude prayer, amazing blessings will flow to you.

    Step 3 – Kriya Mantra – “Ardas Bhaee” – Recite this Kriya with arms extended out to the sides. This is a mantra to answer prayers by assisting you in letting go and moving beyond a difficult situation. Kriya Mantras allow you to channel and direct energy. 10 minutes can be a long time to hold your arms out in the beginning. Again, I really allow myself to become enveloped in light and love, feeling the energies around and within me. I also really love the “Hallelujah” Kriyas of Self Love with Snatam Kaur and Gurmukh.

    Step 4 – Journal Writing – I have noticed a vast difference in my journaling since beginning the Miracle Morning. When I was in high school, I remember following tips from many books on how to develop spiritually through journaling. All my words were the same day in and day out. I loved to write, but writing my feelings never came easy. I couldn’t allow myself to be honest or get specific enough to go beyond basic words. I attempted journaling on and off for years, preferring to write affirmations. I noticed from day one of introducing the Miracle Morning in to my life, words pour out of me, varying every day. I couldn’t be more grateful for this drastic change in my writing.

    Step 5 – Visualization – Sit in silence, envisioning and feeling yourself live your best life, knowing it’s already yours. Focus on what it is you truly want, whether it’s a new house, job, traveling. The more detailed you can get, the better!

    Step 6 – Dancing – Moving Meditation – Turn on uplifting music and allow your body to move however it feels called. Connect with your higher self and let loose in your body.

    I love this! Great post, yes miracle evening is also awesome but I agree, it really sets the tone when we do it in the morning 🙂
