From Tadasana, gently shift your weight into the left foot, finding your pada bandha as you ground down into the tripod points of the foot, and connect with the earth, rooting down energetically. Lift the right foot to the inner left ankle Be aware of your length, feeling tall from your feet to the crown and beyond.
Relax the shoulders with hands in prayer position at the heart, or on the hips if you need a little more balance help. Alternatively lift your arms and open them to the sky with jnana/gyan mudra, or palms open to receive.
