    Butterfly pose/ Buddha Konasana:

    Begin in a seated position, then bring your feet together while having your knees open.

    Grab your feet with your hands and allow your knees to relax towards the ground as you take your next breath. Keeping your back straight aligning your spine with your crown, breath in for three counts then exhale and release yourself into a forward fold.

    As you breath deeper into this moment, feel the stretch in your lower back as you bring your forehead closer to the earth.

    You may stay in this position for as long as your body calls for, at least 1 minute.

    Now you may release your stretch and bring your knees to your chest for a hug, let go and thank yourself for being part of another powerful day.
