    KUNDALINI

    Kundalini yoga has been a favorite practice I have incorporated into my life. I’ve always enjoyed the idea of including mudras and mantras during my meditations, so the practice of kriyas has been something that fits so nicely into what my soul has been craving. I also enjoy that it is very energetic based, the concept of harnessing our spiritual energy that lives at the base of our spines awaiting activation through meditation, yoga, or other practices. As I practice more I can feel the shift in my energy from stagnant into a flow throughout my body, as if I have been charged up with live energy vibrating throughout myself. My first practice that was the most prominent was the ‘ego eradicator kriya.’ This is because I felt challenged, I needed to not only find focus in the practice but I also needed to be aware of my breath, bandhas, arms, and patience. After this kriya I feel accomplished, empowered, balanced, and at peace. Kundalini is definitely a practice I know I have interest to explore further while on my journey 🐍✨
