HW: Introduction
Hi everyone!
My Name is Jana and I come from the Czech Republic. I’ve been living and working in Germany since 2014 though.
I started prafticing yoga when I was about 15 and attended yoga classes in our small town. I was amazed how relaxed and peaceful I felt after each class and told myself I need to make sure to implement yoga to my life.. I also tried meditating at this time and found it very helpful. I was a bit of a weirdo, reading buddhistic texts and looking for the sense of life… Whereas my classmates definitely didn’t share these interests. 😀
However, to shorten the story, I didn’t continue for some time and it took me another 15 years to start practicing more or less on a regular basis, lately mostly with online classes. I wanted to improve systematically, but all the online classes and apps didn’t offer any real concept for this..
Last year I had almost a burn out in my job and really felt I needed a break to just reflect on my life and find a new direction.
There is a bunch of mental issues I would like to work on (like more self confidence and self love, trusting my own gut and finding my path both profesionally and in my private life.. and having the courage to living it). I hope this ytt will help me on this journey.
Beginning the yoga teacher training felt like the right thing to do and it was on of the few things that made me excited last year. 🙂
But at the same time I became pregnant plus there were other things going on… So this and my poor time management led to the fact that it took 7 months after the birth of my son to start over again. 🙂
Oh, and I also hope to implement the knowledge gained here into my medical profession.
