Chair pose, Utkatasana.
From mountain pose take a deep breath in and raise your arms above your head. You may leave space between your hands or join them together. As you exhale begin to bend your knees into a squat position aiming to have you thighs close to parallel with the floor. Keeping more weight in your heels will help you maintain proper form. Your knees will tip slightly over your feet and your torso should form a 90 degree angle with your thighs. Focus on keeping your tailbone tucked and your core engaged while you lift through the heart and try and sink your hips lower. Breathe in this pose and build stamina in body and mind!
This pose is great for strengthening legs, code, and arms. It may be more comfortable to lower your arms into a prayer at the heart 💓
