Sahasrara – The Crown chakra is described as a lotus flower with 1,000 petals & is symbolic of pure consciousness. In some cultures you will see it represented by a crescent moon within a night sky. The color most associated with this chakra is violet. On the body Sahasrara is located on the fontanelle or the intersection of the coronal and sagittal sutures of the skull.
