HW: Chakra Series 2
The second chakra is the Sacral, or Svadhisthana. This is the center of sexuality, sensation, emotions, pleasure, and movement. With a balanced Svadhisthana your life will flow with purpose and enjoyment.
As the element of the Sacral chakra is water, it corresponds with liquid. Drink in the sweetest pleasures life has to offer. Allow yourself to acknowledge all your emotions, release them, surrender and flow with grace.
Be sure to drink lots of water. Do a water meditation ceremony. Personally I drink water from the springs in my town and Reiki it. Send loving energy in to all your food and water before consuming.

Excessive Characteristics: Too attached to your pleasures/desire, likely sexually. Mood swings. Poor boundaries. Emotional attachment. Manipulative.
Deficient: You repress your emotions and deprive yourself of your desires; experience fear of sex or change; may lack passion and excitement; poor social skills; doesn’t express creativity; repress sexuality; feel numb toward life events.
Balanced characteristics: Life is experienced with pleasure, seeing the beauty in everything. You use your creativity or express your passion freely. Able to nurture yourself and those around you. You have healthy boundaries and flow gracefully with change.
Healing work to balance the Sacral Chakra:
Yoga – especially Tantra or laughing yoga exercises, yin yoga to release emotions stored in hips and inner thighs
Meditate with crystals: Moonstone, Carnelian, Aquamarine
Diffuse essential oils: Sandalwood, Jasmine, Rose, Ylang-Ylang
Allow yourself the enjoyment of little pleasures in life – extra sleep, walks, bathe, book a massage, self care time to unwind. Indulge in whatever makes you feel creative.
Dance – drumming, sensual, bellydance, hip circles
Tai chi
Meditate on the goddess or moon, visualize yourself in the ocean. Connect and align with the Goddess within, the nurturer, your sensuality, the Divine Feminine.

Ask yourself: Do I look after my bodily needs? Do I eat well? Sleep enough? Do I express my feelings? Do I smile often? Sing? Dance? Do I celebrate life and my accomplishments? What can I do to feel more content in my body?
Affirmations:
I am aligned with the Goddess within. I am flexible and content in my body. I flow through life’s changes with ease and grace.
I am worthy and deserving to receive that which gives me pleasure.
