    Joining the legs makes you more grounded It’s important to stay grounded while you are traveling on your spiritual path for people who have not so much earth in there body and chakra’s it’s even more important or if you are traveling a lot or do a lot of thinking because of your job or your monkey mind. To be able to keep or create the balance in your chakra’s /body/ ry– it’s important to balance the different chakra’s out. If you know you are a lot in the upper chakra’s, make sure you do enough asanas for lower chakras. For exampleThis standing balance exercise combined with strengthening the inner thighs, buttocks, back and belly while staying centered and grounded in your mind and body.
    1. Shift your weight towards your left leg.2. Place your right foot on the frond of your left shin3. make contact with the 3 points of grounding in your left foot. The base of your big toe, the base of your pinky toe and the center of your heel. Make sure you stay grounded during the entire exercise. Contract your left quadriceps.4. Place one hand on your belly and hold one hand above your head. Both hands in Jana Mudra. Hands and feet are alternating side to side on The Center line. ( so left foot, right foot, left hand, right hand)5. Your dristy is to the front, resting on a point that is not moving.6. Now, start moving your right leg up and down over your left shin. If it’s available for you try to go higher then your knee even.7. Repeat 5-10 times on your own pace. If you fall celebrate it, come back when you’re ready. The yogi that falls the most, learns the most.8. Come back to mountain pose and feel the shift in energy in your legs and body.9. Once your ready for it. Repeat on the other side.
    Place hands on your hips to make it easier. Or keep them above your head in firehands fingertips pointed towards the sky Make just very little movements with your right foot on the lower part of your left shin to make it easier, or place the right foot above your knee and make bigger moments to make it harder.

    Lovely! Yes, getting grounded is so important 🙂

    I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking about koshas. Sorry.

      My question actually is:Are grounding exercises only used to balance out the chakras whit-in one kosha for example if somebody is uprooted or mentally very active? Or can you also use grounding exercises to create more balance between the different kosha’s?
      Maybe I’ll ask Dashama to explains the kosha’s the next time I attent the live zoom session.
