Day 19: Arm Balance Series
Crane Pose (Bakasana)
- Start in Uttanasana (forward fold). exhale and place the palms on the floor in front of your feet, with elbows slightly out.
- While placing the palms on the floor, push the chest towards the thighs or knees.
- Bring the knees close to the armpits and the upper arms.
- While doing this, come to stand on your toes, and adjust the knees to make sure they are comfortable in the armpit area.
- Inhale, bend the torso forward, putting the weight on the wrists and the arms, pull the belly in.
- Exhale. Lift the feet together off the floor.
- If available, straighten your arms.
- To help with the balance, look down.
