Extended Puppy pose – Uttana Shishosana is a relaxing pose that stretches and improves flexibility of the shoulders and spine, it also invigorates the body while calming the mind and relieving tension and stress. In Sanskrit, uttana means “intense,” shisho means “puppy,” and asana means “pose” or “posture.”

    Steps :

Get down onto your hands and knees. Make sure that your wrists are placed directly below your shoulders and your knees are placed directly under your hips.

Walk your hands forward slowly and lower your chest towards the floor.

Push your hips half way back towards your heels and lengthen your spine

Your arms should be straight and resting on the ground in front of you.

Stay in this position for a few breaths.

Be cautious if you have knee or neck injuries

    Listen to your body
