This posture is so wonderful & beautifully liberating in so many ways. Especially if you are wanting to advance from planks & flow your body open more.
Please begin in plank, warm, strong, stable.
Wrists under shoulders, pressing away from the planet, shoulders locked in shoulder blades curling together.
Strong feet, long legs, root through your core to your heels, engage your kneecaps & all bandhas. Inhale left knee bends through to foot opening up behind you, exhale opens your left hip as you do, earthing your left foot down to the ground stable. Inhale claw through right palm rooting deeply, exhale steady body, inhale open up left arm to follow left foot, turning torso to the sky, sturdy core, strong rooted arm & both feet, integrity of your balance. Press up & away, use right fingertips reaching to help stability.
To come out exhale curl yourself back the way you came, slowly, gently to plank. Opening then closing.
