Begin in mountain pose.
Feel your feet root down into earth, creating a solid foundation.
Begin to bend forward, torso horizontal to the floor.
Left leg simultaneously rises behind you to create straight line with torso.
Core will be engaged.
Balance will be maintained by keeping back leg tight and stretched behind, gaze focused on one steady spot before you.
Right leg will also be strong.
Hips even.
Many small adjustments will be made as you go over this list in your mind.
Hold this for at least 30-45 seconds, a slight bit longer than you would like.
Return to mountain pose and repeat on opposite side.
