Seated Neck Opener
Come to Easy Pose.
Take a few breathes as you settle into position with spine straight. Imagine growing roots into the earth to ground yourself.
Left fingertips to floor beside your hip.
Right hand over head to left ear. Gently apply pressure to head, stretching out side neck. Begin slowly. Let weight of hand rest on head. Continue breathing as tension releases.
Hold for 1 minute.
Gently release and repeat stretch on other side.
My neck is very stiff. I find it useful to rotate my neck around to get a stretch throughout my neck. Treat neck with care.
