HW: Special Cases
With special cases, or injuries, there are many ways to modify. You can use blocks when standing or seated. You can use blankets or blocks, when seated, under the hips for tight knees or hips. You can use straps to help do more advanced poses and to help stretch gently into the more advanced poses.
So with a Pigeon Pose, you can modify this by placing a block or blanket under the hip to better relax into the pose. If you want to take it deeper, you can use a strap to get into your mermaid. You can put the strap around your back foot to pull it closer to your thigh. This will also help stretch the shoulders and upper back until you can reach your foot.
