HW: Peak Pose
Bow Pose
Bow pose is version of back where you lay on your stomach and defy gravity by lifting your legs and chest up.
Two poses to help prepare for this pose are:1. Puppy pose – this is when you are on you hands and knees in table top position. On the exhale bring your chest to the ground while keep your hips in the air. This pose really allows you to open up you shoulders. 2. Cobra pose- lay on your stomach and inhale lift your chest up to the sky keeping your feet on the ground. This pose will really stretch and warm up your back for full bow pose. You can do sphinx pose on your elbows a few times to prepare for cobra or you can replace cobra with up-dog where you lift you thighs off the ground while keep your toes down. All of these poses lift your heart up to the sky.
