    Camel Pose:
    On your knees, hip width apart, place your hands on the lower back. Lift the heart to the sky and drop the head back. As you arch you can reach your hands for the heels, if that is within your practice. Press the hips forward, and arch from the upper spine, lifting the heart.
    *If you have back or neck issues please be extremely cautious in this pose and only do the first variation.
    When you are ready to come out of this pose, if your hands are on the heels, place the hands to the lower back; slowly sit up using the core muscles, and carefully bend the knees and sit back into child’s pose. Hold this for a few breaths to counter the deep bend in your back.
