Day 16 empowerment
Chair pose
1. Start by standing with your feet together and arms at your sides in mountain pose.
2. Inhale and raise your arms overhead, palms facing each other.
3. Exhale and bend your knees, lowering your hips as if you’re sitting in an imaginary chair.
4. Keep your back straight and try to bring your thighs parallel to the ground. Knees not going past your toes if possible.
5. Engage your core muscles and lengthen your spine.
6. Hold this position for a few breaths, and then slowly stand back up to the starting position engaging the thighs and core to stand.
Remember to breathe deeply and maintain good posture.
