Down Dog Split Variation.
From down dog – move your right foot into the center and on your next inhale lift your left leg straight up. From here, bend your left leg over towards your right side and really open up that left hip. If it’s available to you, you can come down on to your right forearm. You’ll notice a nice stretch in your right hip flexor. Hold this potion for a few deep breaths. . . Straighten you leg back up into down dog splits and then gently bring your left leg back down and come into down dog.
