    The hamstrings are connected to root chakra.

    From standing mountain pose, root in earth.

    reach up, reach back and bend forward at hips.

    Awareness on straight spine.

    Feeling length of sit bone and hamstrings.

    Keeping knees pretty straight, press the hands into the thighs or even the shins, pushing your back up.

    Making sure to keep the spine as straight as possible and feeling the stretch in the hamstrings.

    Moving into low lunge,

    folding forward reaching hands to the ground.

    Step back one leg into low lunge.

    shift the hips back, straighten leg, keeping straight back.

    Reach towards your foot, can use towel or other prop.

    Feeling the stretch in the hamstrings.
