Seated Cat & Cow Pose
Starting in Easy Pose, seated and cross legged, use a cushion or block if it’s more comfortable for you, pelvis and spine aligned, lower abdomen engaged. As we inhale we open through the collarbones, shoulders drawing back and down toward each other as we look up towards the sky and lean our head back, arching and pulling up as our hands and fingers are back behind us about 1 foot away, touching the floor. Exhaling we round through our upper back placing our hands on our knees, lengthening the spine folding forward, shoulders are forward pushing away from our knees while our pelvis is tucking forward abdomen engaged, head falls forward into chest. Continue to do this sequence inhaling with each expansion in Cow and exhaling with each lengthening in Cat 3x. Namaste 🙏
