    To do the half split we start in mountain pose. Stand with your feet hip distance apart. Please refer to your bone structure and not your actual hips. Ground yourself, pull your kneecaps up and hands by your side. Fold over and bring your right leg back and go in a low lunge. Take yourself back and straighten your left leg and keep your right leg in a 90 degree angle. Fold over your left leg with a straight back. If it is available to you put your hands on either side of your left leg or try to bring your toes closer to you. You can also use a strap or towel. Don’t collapse over your leg but keep a straight back. To come out of the pose we return to the low lunge
