Throat Chakra, Vishuddha
The throat chakra is related to communication and expression through voice. The color is a bright blue when cleared. It is located at the base of your neck in the center of your larynx.
With this chakra you have the ability to express your true self & your intentions clearly and concisely. You are comfortable with your words, both spoken and in song.A wonderful way to acquaint yourself with your throat chakra is to chant mantras. (The vibrations of the sound of your voice will activate Vishuddha) Ham is the Bija Mantra associated here. Consider chanting it as you practice the following poses : Fish Pose (Matsysana), Plow Pose (Halasana), or Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana). Lion’s Breathe is an excellent activator of this chakra as well.
Mantra: I believe in myself and express myself through the wind element of breathe and sound.
