    Low Lunge;
    While in Downward Dog, step the left foot a bit more to the center, inhale the right leg up, lengthening as you ground into the left heel. Pressing into the palms, long lengthening stretch into the left hamstring, right toes rising to the sky. Exhale, right foot steps forward between the hands. Drop the left knee down, flipping the left foot so that the top of the foot rests against the mat, arms sweep out and up, interlace the fingers above you, index fingers pointing up into Fire Mudra. Stabilize the hips as you move forward lengthening the spine and opening the left hip flexor. Take 3 breaths here growing deeper into the pose as it becomes available to you. This Low Lunge variation helps to achieve a deep opening the left hip flexor.
