Day 22 Forearm Balance: Dolphin Variations 🐬
Today we will be going through our dolphin variations. Beginning with dolphin on the earth to stretch out our shoulders and hamstrings. Start in downward dog, then allow your arms to drop onto your elbows and hand, aligning to be shoulder distance apart. Now shifting our weight onto our hands, elbows, and shoulders to prepare us for the next pose. Allow the crown of your head to fall freely, connecting your crown to the energy of the earth. Take a few breaths here before transitioning into dolphin split. Shift your left foot towards the centre as you lift your right leg into the sky. Hold this pose for about 3 breaths, using your core strength and forearms to support you. After you’ve completed both sides, I suggest countering with puppy pose to release any tension. If you feel comfortable, we will go into full dolphin.Shift your weight into your arms as you float one leg up, followed by the other. Keeping your focus by looking down between your hands which are planted into the ground. Breathing here for a few moments before slowly returning back to the earth, one leg at a time. Lower onto your knees and go into puppy or child’s pose to counter our practice today.
Thank you for growing on this journey of yoga and discovering new ways to move the energy in our bodies. Have a beautiful grand rising 🌞❤️
    Light & Love,Namaste ✨
